What you need

- Paint
- Paint Brushes
PAINT
For best results, if at all possible use spray paint.
- Kids would need supervision dependent on their age.
- Please wear a mask when using spray paint.
However, using paint that is applied with a brush also works. Water based or enamel paints. The choice is yours based on your personal preferences.
- It is always best to primer your pieces before you apply paint.
- Many spray paints have a dual feature, containing both a primer and the paint.
- Once you have applied primer.
- You can either paint your miniature house, furniture, wooden toy or decoration prior to building/assembling. If applying before assembly, just remember not to over spray or be too generous when applying paint, this may affect the connecting nodes.
- Or you can apply paint once you have assembled your pieces.
- The choice is yours.
GLUE
Gorilla Glue has a range of excellent products that can be used on wood.
- If you decide to use fast acting glues, please ensure you and/or your kids wear gloves. Kids will require strict supervision.
- If you use general purpose wood glue, you will need a bit of patience during the assembly process, as you will need a little time for the glue to activate or dry.
ASSEMBLY
Instructions will be provided in your postage pack.
- Think about things you may have lying around the house that can be used as decorative features, items such as glitter, wrapping paper, wallpaper, mirrors, tiles even old fabrics.
- Prepare an area in your home or ideally outside, that is safe and can be left unattended as some of the puzzles take time to assemble, build, paint & decorate.
- Do not leave the pieces exposed to the elements, such as direct sunlight, rain or wind....
- Ensure you cover your work area with appropriate protection from glue and paint.
- Also wear appropriate clothing, it can be messy business.
Yes, it takes time to prepare, and there are a lot of things to consider, but at the end of the day, its all about the fun in seeing your build progress to a great masterpiece that will be admired by many.
